## Unleashing the Power of Canary: A Multichain DeFi Ecosystem

### Intro

Welcome to the innovative and dynamic world of Canary, a decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem that is reshaping the landscape of digital finance.

### CNR Token

At the heart of the Canary ecosystem is the CNR Token, the official utility token of Canary and its associated dApps. CNR plays a pivotal role within the ecosystem, serving as a medium of exchange, a governance token, and a reward mechanism. Users can earn CNR Tokens by participating in various activities within the Canary ecosystem, such as providing liquidity, staking, and engaging in governance decisions.

### **Multichain Deployment**

Canary is not confined to a single blockchain. Instead, it embraces a multichain approach, deploying its services on various EVM-compatible chains. This strategy enhances accessibility and allows users to interact with Canary on their preferred blockchain. Starting with Avalanche, Canary plans to expand its reach to other prominent chains, creating a truly interconnected and versatile DeFi ecosystem.

### **DeFi Products and Services**

Canary offers a diverse range of DeFi products and services, catering to users with varying interests and preferences. From decentralized exchanges (DEX) to yield farming, staking, and innovative DeFi solutions, Canary aims to be a comprehensive ecosystem that addresses the evolving needs of the DeFi community.

### **Innovation and Development**

Canary is committed to continuous innovation and development. The project's roadmap includes exciting plans such as the integration of Canary\_AI, focusing on multiswap and DEX aggregator solutions, and exploring new frontiers in the rapidly evolving DeFi landscape.

### **Community-Centric Approach**

Canary places a strong emphasis on community involvement and engagement. The project believes in the power of its community and actively seeks input, feedback, and collaboration. The Canary community is an integral part of decision-making processes, fostering a sense of ownership and inclusivity.

### Avax Prediction Game

"AVAX Prediction", one of the most popular applications of the DeFi world, is now live on Avalanche Ecosystem by Canary! Prediction game is a fun and simple decentralized prediction market. Predict whether AVAX's price will rise or fall – guess correctly to win!

### Boogey Birds NFT Collection

“Boogey Birds” is a [Stake-able NFT](https://boogeybirds.com/#stake) collection on Avalanche network created by well educated artificial intelligence where each bird possesses a unique set of playful characteristics.

Stake your Boogey Birds to [Canary Exchange!](https://app.canary.exchange/#/nftstake)

Boogey Birds are not just fancy pictures. In fact one of first features they will boast is stake-ability! You heard it right bird lovers - after you get hold of your birdie you can stake it at [Canary Exchange](https://app.canary.exchange/#/nftstake) and earn its native CNR token which you can then trade or use for providing liquidity earning even more. Oh, this is getting so exciting!

# FAQ

What is Canary Exchange?

Canary Exchange is a decentralized exchange. Unlike centralized exchanges, decentralized exchanges do not have owners. They exist in a distributed structure on the blockchain. Membership is not required to trade in decentralized exchanges. You only need to have one blockchain wallet and a private key.

## What is CNR Token?

CNR Token is the official token of the Canary Exchange. You earn CNR Token by using Canary Exchange. If you wish, you can swap the tokens you earn to another cryptocurrency through Canary Exchange. If you wish, you can stake your CNR Tokens again and earn more CNR Tokens!

How is it working?

Canary Exchange works with a model called AMM which is a game changing tech. Automated market makers (AMMs) allow digital assets to be traded without permission and automatically by using liquidity pools instead of a traditional market of buyers and sellers.

So what is a liquidity pool?

A liquidity pool is a collection of funds locked in a smart contract. Liquidity pools are used to facilitate decentralized trading, lending, and many more functions.

What is CRL Token ?

After you successfully create a pool or add liquidity to an existing pool, you receive CRL tokens. These tokens are a representation of your ownership in a pool. You may use those CRL tokens to earn the CNR token by depositing them into one of your participating pools.

What do I need to be able to use Canary Exchange?

To use Canary Exchange, you need:

* A metamask wallet
* Adding the avalanche network to the metamask wallet
* Some AVAX in it

Can I send my Avalanche assets directly from Metamask to an Exchange or an ETH address?

No, you cannot send assets across networks directly from Avalanche to Ethereum or vice versa. You need to use the Avalanche-Ethereum Bridge every time you want to send assets between networks.

## Why isn’t my ERC-20 token showing in my Metamask wallet?

This is due to the token address changing. When you transfer ERC-20’s across the Avalanche-Ethereum Bridge, the Token contract address changes. Token contract addresses are different on Ethereum and Avalanche despite being the same represented token.

To import the Avalanche token address of any Avalanche supported ERC-20 follow these steps:

1. Open Metamask
2. Scroll down to "Add Token"
3. Tap on the "Custom Token" tab
4. Navigate to: the Avalanche Token List
5. Find the token you wish to import and copy the contract address
6. Paste the contract address inside Metamask
7. Tap Next
8. Done!

## Why are my fees displayed in ETH on MetaMask?

MetaMask is originally built for Ethereum and does not support the native tokens of other blockchain networks. The ETH units displayed are actually AVAX units when on the Avalanche network. Therefore, to get the true cost of transactions, you need to multiply the units by the current market rate of AVAX.

## Why do I have to make two transactions sometimes using MetaMask?

MetaMask will ask you to first approve the Canary App to interact with your tokens. Afterwards, you will then be able to confirm the transaction.

Am I able to use my Ethereum wallet on Avalanche?

Yes - that is the power of Avalanche! It allows you to use your same wallet that you use on Ethereum.

Why does my liquidity not show up on the pools page?

If you deposit your CRL tokens, your liquidity won’t show up on the pools page until you withdraw your CRL tokens. Technically, you are handing ownership of your liquidity to the staking pools and you can’t claim your liquidity until you withdraw your CRL tokens.

## Do I still get fees when staking CRL to mine CNR?

Yes. Fees are added to the pool and are extracted proportionally when you withdraw your CRL.

### **The Evolution of CNR Token**

CNR Token, the native utility token of the Canary ecosystem, has undergone a transformative upgrade. At the heart of this upgrade lies the introduction of an automatic burning mechanism, a groundbreaking feature that dynamically adjusts the CNR Total Supply.

### **Auto-Burn Contract**

The auto-burn contract is a sophisticated smart contract designed to automatically reduce the CNR Total Supply at regular intervals. This mechanism ensures a gradual decrease in the total supply of CNR Tokens, contributing to increased scarcity over time. As a result, this innovative approach seeks to address concerns related to tokenomics, fostering a deflationary model that benefits long-term holders.

### **The Impact on CNR Tokenomics**

This shift in CNR Tokenomics brings several noteworthy implications. By reducing the Total Supply, the auto-burn mechanism aims to create a scarcity effect, potentially influencing the token's value positively. Moreover, as the circulating supply decreases, the deflationary nature may contribute to greater stability and sustainability.

# Dev Fee Allocation

**Developer Fee (5% of CNR)**

Developer fees will be distributed fairly and over many years. Devs will receive their fees in very small portions monthly.
